The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) publishes and maintains the National Construction Code (NCC).
To support practitioners in understanding and using the code, the ABCB has published some datasets to data.gov.au the central source of Australian open government data.
The ABCB datasets are available for use under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. This means you are free to share, adapt, and build upon your work, even commercially, as long as you give credit the ABCB as the original author of the data, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made.
Attribution can be provided in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the ABCB endorses you or your use of the ABCB data. An example attribution is - The National Construction Code (NCC) 2022 was provided by the Australian Building Codes Board under the CC BY licence.
NCC 2022 XML Data
The NCC 2022 data is available for download in XML format. The data is machine-readable and suitable for a wide range of applications, from research and analysis to software development.
